Possible worn out actuators for the heat a/c system. Move the temp knobs/ sliders one at a time and see if it stops, also move the level selector to another position, like from defrost to feet, and see if it stops. If it does, that specific actuator needs to be replaced. This solved the mystery clicking in my 04 Silverado dash.

I have a 1998 4 X Tahoe. When I turn the switch on, clicking sounds under dash and then nothing. Battery seems strong, checked connections, all good. Could it be a starter relay? Thanks so much!!! Ed

an easy way too see if its the battery is to turn the headlights on, and try to start it, if the lights dim the battery is to low, if the battery checks ok, then it sounds like the starter solenoid located on the starter it self, a new starter and solenoid should be around $100 and take about 30 min. to install

2007 Tahoe wont start

if the vehicle has factory anti theft check all the fuses under the hood as well as the one under the dash and if they are good listen for the starter relay under the hood for a clicking sound when someone tries to start it. if it dosn't make any sound replace it. this should solve the problem.

Coolant leak chevy tahoe 02

If the coolant is in the cab they did not cause the problem changing the manifold gasket. It sounds like the heater core has failed, which is under the dash.
