What year is the vehicle ? Looking at wiring diagrams to see what all is involved in the hazard light's electrical circuit's would be a good idea . Do you know about automotive wiring diagrams ? How to test circuit's with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Depending on how new the vehicle is ,a module , like ford's smart junction box could be in control of the light's .

I am sorry but we have no wiring diagrams here. I would try eBay for a used repair manual that has the wiring diagrams in it.

If the lamps and bulbs are ok I would initially suspect the hazard warning light switch, then the indicator switch, the multiway connectors and then the wiring.
There is generally only one fuse for the indicators and as one side is working it can be assumed power is reaching the indicator circuit.

Your ignition circuit is faulty- it's probably the ignition switch itself that is defective. The misfire is that the distributor cap has a crack in it and the spark is directed to a particular plug wire and the spark has found its way to a non designated plug wire. It wouldn't be the coil, change the rotor and distributor cap be sure to mark your plug wires and reinsert into the proper hole in the distributor cap. Good Luck, Jim
