Turn ignition to "ON" position. Make sure odometer is on trip setting not on total vehicle mileage setting.
Turn ignition OFF
Push and hold odometer button while turning ignition to "ON" position. HOld for about 4-5 seconds until maintenance light goes off. Turn ignition OFF. Start up vehicle. There should be no more maintanence light.

sounds like park safety switch, there are 2 switches 1 neutral and 1 park, if it starts in neutral,it is working,if in park, and does not start usually means bad switch or wire off.

set the mileage when the odometer is showing. put the key to off position. press and hold the reset button then turn the key to on position, do not start. then continue holding the reset button until the reading stops to zero or blank. turn it off, that should reset the light indicator

Testimonial: "thanks for the help! it worked like a charm. appreciate it! "
Do you still have a key from the old ignition switch or was that why you had to replace it in the first place. If you have the old key I can explain how to just registaring the new keys from the transponder of the old key. I know it sounds crazy but you have to register the new keys and this is the easiest way without having special equipment. Just comment here either way or email me directly at email@example.com with your information.
