What do you mean by light? Please explain in detail. The problem is most likely the steering gear assembly, but that is a guess only.

first step is to have the fluid pressure checked, but it will likely turn out to be the steering gear box that is at fault

I know that we still call it a gear box. Take it apart and you will see why

if that is 100 kl and not miles per hour I would suggest you start looking at a bad catalitic converter as a suspect. pull your o2 sessor before the cat and see if it runs better if it does thats your problem. They usually shift wierd with a bad cat also but not always . if this was helpful please leave good feed back

I get a squealing noise under the dash and my abs light and handbrake light is on

You most likely have a wheel bearing going out. Try to identify which is squeeling. As these go you will notice a rust film on the wheel rim and the side of the car that is going bad.

I have what appears to be excessive brake pad and rotor wear. Less than 10,000 km between need for pad replacements and rotor replacements or machining. 2007 100 series V8 PETROL TOYOTA landcruiser....

It could be something as simple as the caliper pistons are binding/sticking. which is inhibiting the smooth engage/disengagement of the pads on the disks.

It means taking each wheel off, probably removing the pads and cleaning the pistons, especially around the sides where they move in and out of the caliper. Maybe a little copper grease to aid movement.

Driver side front. You may have to remove skid plate.
Also try turning front wheel hard to the left and look behind the left wheel and you see it.
