SOURCE: It sounds like sucking air

Sounds like it's time for some basic maintenance. Some of the emission controls require changing. More specifically, the PCV. Positive Crankcase Valve.

At 60,000, and 100,000 miles this are supposed to be changed, but conditions may require a change sooner.

I found this picture--3.1L . #10 says to accessory, Other than hvac, I can't think of any other accessory that uses vacuum? If everything works ok, plug it. You could use a piece of vacuum line, block one end of it, the open end slip it over the port. At least, you won't have a vacuum leak.

My nissan 1400 carburetor dont want to idle when i start it up when i close the top of the carburetor with my hand then it idles and i can feel its sucking a lot of air...what can i do to fix it

check adjust the float level
check fuel pump pressure
check that the idle circuit shut off solenoid is operational
check for blockage in the idle circuit
By putting your hand over the carby you are in effect creating a vacuum in the carby that is sucking fuel into the manifold through which ever circuit is available
May be a carby over haul would be in order

How to purge heating system on a 2003 nissan sentry

This system has to be purged of all air. This has to be done at a shop that has this tool. It basically vacuums out all the atmosphere just like an HVAC vacuum pump. It then sucks in the coolant thus no air pockects.

My 1996 jeep grand cherokee oil dipstick tube has vacuum

The PCV system is supposed to pull vac on the crankcase to re-burn the fumes in the oil pan.
But your engine sounds like it has a vent problem via the air filter.

Cruise control say not working and a symbol of the engine is on it changes gears and everythng fine

You probably have a vacuum leak. First: Check the brake vacuum line from the air intake manifold to the brake servo (black plastic pipe running from top of engine to brake servo with flange in the middle). It may be cracked. When engine at idle listen for leaks. You can run your hand along it to try to feel sucking.
If not that lift the black platic engine cover (3 screws) and look for cracks/leaks in the 1" black house running from front cyclinder bank to air intake manifold. It may be split/sucking air.

You may need to reset the Check engine light. Good luck

When engine is running there is a high noise, when shut off there is a sucking noise stops after a few seconds. noise seems to be coming from driver side on the back of the engine. This is a California car

Check the big rubber hose/pipe between the air box and the inlet manifold for cracks or splits.
Sounds like its sucking air.
While your at it check all the hose's/Pipes that connect to the inlet manifold.

Ford Escourt 1.6 Si Running Badly

I'll try, 1st let look at the air being sucked in, the area you are describing sounds like where the plug wires are. The only tube that can leak air (sucking in noise) in this area is the intake tube that goes between the intake manifold and the air filter, if this hose has a big leak it will make that sucking in sound, it will also prevent air from going through the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). This will cause the engine to run poorly. Check the intake hose if it is cracked, got a hole in it, then replace it. Hope this helps, let me know.
