My fan on the passenger side seems to be clicking as it is running faster than driver side. Is this dangerous

PLEASE a fan being dangerous . in what sense do you think ? most likely you have part of a leaf sucked inside and when it rotates it makes a noise .

You may find a reset will solve this annoying problem. The problem you have is the GM heater control unit has lost it's calibration, which can happen from time to time. The way to reset it is, start your car and turn your heater off, and shut off the car, pull out the keys. Then with vehicle off, disconnect the battery, (or batteries if it has two). Let sit for 10 minutes, then re-connect battery. Get in and start the engine, DON'T touch anything, let the heater control unit re-calibrate for at least 40 seconds, (by the clock), then try turning on the heater.

Where are the cooling fan relays located?


This may not help, but it looks like two fan relays are in a box on the passenger side of the engine compartment. The info should be in the owners manual.
Let me know if you don't find it.

My cooling fan on a 2006 Jeep liberty 3.7L runs slow. You can even stop it while engine is running. Is this normal or do I have a problem?


Probably not.
The fan clutch uses oil to regulate the speed of the fan depending on air temp.
The hotter the air the faster it should turn. The faster the engine speed the slower it turns.
At idle in normal air temp it should be too firm to stop with your hand, which is pretty dangerous by the way.

The drivers side brakes seem to be locking up and it makes me slide into the lane towards the passenger side bet it only happens every once in a while plus it makes weird noises around my passenger tire...


This sounds like a bad caliper trying to lock up and yes it can be very dangerous, I would recommed replacing it immediately before it wears the pad completeley down and starts a possible leak which will in turn eventually leave you with no brakes at all. Its best to have this done by a professional because its not always the one locking up that is the problem as much as it is the others not applying correctly.

My 2002 Hyundai Elantra gets hot when sitting in traffic. So far I have checked all the fuses and they are good, the coolant level is normal, and both fans are plugged in. Even when the car is getting...


Both fans don't necessarily have to start and stop together but you do need both of them to adequately cool the engine. If you plugged the harness from the drivers side fan into the passenger side fan and it worked then I think you've ruled out any electrical problems with the wiring. It's probably 1 of 2 things. Either the fan has gone out, or the temperature sensor has gone bad. I would start with the temperature sensor first. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. The sensor just threads into the radiator, usually at the bottom.

when a bulb fails on one side of the indicators the other bulb, same side, flashes faster, SO.you have just answered the question yourself,as you have replaced the bulb with a new one, the contacts for the new bulb are at fault.

Are both radiator fans suppose to come on together?


I found this forum site and from what I can discern, both fans should be running once engine temperature sensor turns them on. Can you switch wiring from 1 fan to the other? This would let you know whether you have a faulty motor or relay. Maybe you can pick up some tips too.
