Generally not for a 2 year old vehicle. But, if you have more than 50k miles on it, I'd call the dealer just to double check this. Usually at either 50K or 65K most manufacturers will recommend having the fuel filter changed along with the plugs and air filters.
As to Where it is, you can follow one of the fuel lines to it. But I do believe it's under the hood, behind the engine on the passenger side of the firewall. Be aware, this is no place to do sloppy work. Gasoline is mean and you don't want it to be leaking when you're done. So make sure you use the correct tools and use LINE WRENCHES not the regular open-end type of wrench. Otherwise you'll round the corners off your nutz! Then you will be hurting because you wont be able to drive!

Removal & Installation

NOTE The fuel filter is either on the left side of the firewall or next to the fuel pump near the left side of the fuel tank.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Remove or disconnect the following:
   
   Negative battery cable Fuel filler cap Fuel lines from the fuel filter Fuel filter from the bracket
   

1. Install or connect the following:
   
   Fuel filter to the bracket Fuel lines to the fuel filter Fuel filler cap Negative battery cable
   
2. Start the engine and check for leaks.
