Vicky, very common problem on all years of TB's and is a 3 second fix, will cost around $35. There is a recall for this issue, but not sure if it covers all years. It's your #46 relay under the hood in the fuse box. If your year is not covered on the recall, always keep a spare relay in glovebox. It's that common.

My low beam headlights won't turn on in 2004 gmc envoy

It's the headlamp relay #46. If you want to test it, swap it out with the cooling fan relay #45 and see if your headlights work. If they do you know this is the fix. Found the solution online a couple of years ago and it was spot-on. The part was $45 at autozone at the time.

I have a 03 gmc 2500 hd im having headlight problems but only sometimes and only when i have to high beams on and I have to switch to low beams the low beams don't come except when you hit a bump in...

Replace the headlight dimmer switch on the steering column and check the connector to it fro signs of overheating, replace connector and switch as one repair. Do not use crimp connectors, solder all wires as needed and use shrink tube to insult the solder joints.

2004 envoy xuv low beams dont work switched fuses 45 and 46 still nothing any ideas

Other possibilities are; the bulbs themselves, burnt or corroded bulb sockets, or a bad headlight selector switch.

Replaced the headlights and it seems as though the high beams are not working right. They are on but not right, when you turn on the bright lights should both the low and high beam bulls be on?

Depends on model, most of GM products now have seperate beams for low and high, and some high beams require a different headlight for proper brightness.

Need to replace low beam bulbs in 2004 GMC envoy. Help?

Lift hood, at top of each headlight assembly look for two L-shaped tabs. Pull these tabs straight up, this will release the headlight assembly. Lift assembly forward to gain access to rear of assembly. There two rubber caps, the top one is for access to the low beam and the bottom for the high beam bulbs. Remove the appropriate cap, grasp bulb socket and turn CCW to release. Unplug bulb from socket by releasing catch on side of socket, install new bulb, DO NOT touch bulb glass with fingers. Reverse steps to re-assemble.

2004 Envoy, low beam headlights turn off on their own.

the daytime running light module is no good.,or the relay is overheating and cutting out and comes back on when cool.get some freeze spray from an electronic supplier and spray the suspect component when it stops working.the -60f will make it appear fast..cheers

My low headlight in my envoy 2002 is down i checked the fuse and still no luck

If this low beam is on one headlight only, I would say that the light is burnt out. Both hi and low beams are on the same bulb. The bulb has 2 filiments, one low and one hi. If you get just one light out , it is most likely a bulb. If you get both sides not working at the same time, it could be something else. You have checked the fuses and deemed them to be o/k. Then you should be checking for headlight bulbs.

2003 GMC Envoy Low beam headlights will not work.

I would start by checking the headlight relay and headlight fuse.  You also may wanna check to make sure the bulbs aren't blown out.  If those parts check out to be fine and in working order, you may need to replace the turn signal assembly in the steering column.  This part controls the hi/low beams.  This may sound crazy but, when GM wired their older trucks, they wired the headlights to go from the battery, to the hi/low beam switch, then to the headlight switch (to the left of the steering wheel) then out to the light bulbs.  You can kind of test to see if this part is good by making a fist and (with your headlights on) gently hitting the plastic cover for your steering column that is right behind your actual steering wheel.  This could cause your headlights to flicker on and off.  It's not 100% guarenteed that this method will work, but it may.
Any questions, just ask!
