take the ground line of the battery and press the brake for a few minutes and if the life is still on have the vehicle scann and clear code and have the emission components for the vehicle check

it is typical design for these brakes and pads and rotors if you have the correct tools which is usually just a good socket set and some allen keys and some various pliers and wrenches you should do just fine if you are mechanically inclined, one thing i am wondering is why you are replacing the rotors? are they turned twice already? if they have never been turned and are not thoroughly warped then you can just have them turned fairly inexpensivley at a local shop

the filter is located under the hood on the passenger side under the wiper cowl,,there are 3 push pins, pull the center of them up and then pull the outside up and then out and then thats plastic panel lifts up and its under there,,pop out each end of the filter and then its out,put the new one in arrow facing inwards toward the interior and reinstall, like a 30 second process
