Can barely hear speakers when they are turned all the way up

Assuming this applies to all the speakers in the TrailBlazer, you likely have an amplifier transistor in the radio going bad. When they occasionally work, or you get a "crackling" sound it is usually the amp. A slim possibility is a bad ground, but that usually won't affect all speakers, only one.

The rear speakers stopped working in 2006 Tralblazer

The most common solution is both rear speakers are bad. Not what you expect, but is what we usually find. could be a driver in the radio.
Go back to the rear speaker and put your ear right on the speaker and notice if there is a faint sound.
Have a test speaker and plug up before you buy the correct ones.

Bose radio comes on but no sound in my 2004 chevy avalanche.Sometimes even with radio off you hear a popping sound come from speakers. thanks

First Visually check all your fuses. Does rig have amp for stereo by any chance? It sounds like amp is bad and/or fuse is blown. Amp is wired between radio and speakers, and a shorted amp would make crackling in speakers when radio is OFF

Cracking sound from Radio Speakers

I disconnected the amp and ran jumper wires for the proper speakers (two wires per speaker eight total) . Basically I bypassed the amp now all speakers work and sound fine.
