2000 vw beetle 01m auto trans, car was fine, trans was fine, pulled out excelerated, car sounded like it went into neutral, wont move in any gear. P1680 code. Help

Has to do with the throttle position sensor or pedal position sensor. Needs to be on a scanner. Just to see which it not working. Could also be a limp mode code. since the transmission quit pulling. I suggest you get it to a transmission shop. Most shops won't/cant diagnose transmission. They will try though.. Just costs you more.

Code PO 238 on 2001 VW Beetle where do i start

The P0238 code relates to a Turbo Boost sensor pressure High. The P0106 is a MAP sensor code and could be caused by a bad or loose hose to the MAP sensor and can cause the P0171 which is system to lean code. The P0297 is a vehicle overspeed code. Hope this helps you some.

Need code for radio in a 1998 VW Beetle. Have VIN# an radio serial #. Any help will be appreciated.

You will need to inquire from the VW Servive Center. The Dealer is one of the few people that can call in and get the radio code.

First check your Owner's Manual in case a prior owner wrote it down insed the manual. Also look for a sticker inside the spare tire wheel well. For some model years VW placed the code on a sticker and then put it in that location. My daughter has a 98 VW Beetle and we had to inquire of the Service Department. They didn't charge us to obtain the code, and it took less than 5 minutes to obtain.
