WD40 is OK, but there are better products out there. Some times though, it has been locked to long to release. If you can, apply some heat to it.

if the 3 speed trans then possible the kick down cable sticking on its on top of the linkage its spring loaded if sticking will give you your problem WD40 the heck out of it then try it again

2006 hyundai santa fe brakes light stay on

check the brake light switch located behind the foot brake pedal.
it may need a be of wd40 on it or a little grease. if broken may need replacement

Hi, my idicator/hazard lights on the rigth side are on constant even when engine is off! Can you help? could it be the relay sticking, should i use WD40? MANY THANKS Hyundia coupe se 04 plate

hi , it sounds more like the flasher box is stuck not the relay, and wd40 wont to it any good lol..better off replacing it proberbly cheaper than a can of wd40 lol...hope that helps

2007 Tahoe 3rd row right seat will not fold

I solved the problem by spraying WD40 into the front side of the seat support that was sticking. This support has a rubber closure to protect the mechanics of the seat. After spraying a generous amount of WD40, I waited about 5 minutes and tried the lever to fold the seat. It worked and still does.

Door does not unlock with key,makes a noise

Get some wd40 and give the lock catches a good spray.After about 10 mins. try again.If they work,get a stick of drylube(which is a bit like candle wax) and put a bit on each catch.Both in the catch and the door.That will help keep them working.If they dont work,try some more wd40 and go through it again.This is usually the most common cause.Hope this helps you

My brake lights are intermittent. It seems to be

needs replaced . disconect wires and remove switch and replace then connect wires you can check this with a ohmometer when removed .
hope this helps around 10 mins would do this .?

Drivers seat does not lock in place but seat slides back and forth

try spraying wd40 with tube extension on underside grease gets hard and dirty and sticks sometimes u have to remove seat and turn over to get at it better
