SOURCE: the radiator is broken how much would a new one

depending on where you live it can run from 25 to 300 dollars. I have found a few that cost about 40 bucks but shipping to where you are can be difficult and costly. You can do various searches on search engines with the name Opel Radiators and that will give you the best options available.

SOURCE: Wanna know what type of thermostate use a 1996 Opel Astra 160IE 8valve?asap plz

Most newer vehicles use a 190 r a 195 thermostat, be cause the engines need to warm up to hotter temperatures. A thermostat is just designed to stay closed at cold temperature to prevent coolant flow so the car will warm up to operating temperature faster so the car runs more efficient. Once the thermostat reaches its operational rating it allows the coolant to flow past and reach the radiator to be cooled back down.

I have 1996 Opel Astra , 1.4 L. The temperature gauge stays close to RED mark. I think the engine is getting overheated.I think about removal of air pockets out of cooling system.

find the highest hose and loosen of the clamp to release the air from the system
many have a bleed screw at that point as well
have a compression test done and have a coolant pressure test done to check for leaks

My opel astra estate 160i,1995 model radiator fan not working

Hi, there are a few things that are the usual suspects, ill try to walk you through what and how to check. First, you need to check your coolant for circulation and overheating. When the vehicle is cool, pop the head take off the radiator cap, check and see if you have coolant. If yes, start the vehicle and let it get warm. Watch in the radiator top to see if coolant is flowing. If not, your probably overheating due to your radiator is dirty or a water pump issue. If it flowing, we need to check the electronic issues. To do this you'll need a meter or a test light, and a piece of wire. If you have a meter, unplug the fan plug set your meter on ohms and see which one is ground. You do this by turning off the ignition. Replug the connector loosely so you can access the terminals, take your meter and put one end to ground the other to the connector, the one that pegs is your ground. Take your wire put it on the other terminal the other end of the wire to the pos. of the batt ,the fan should kick on. If not your fan motor is bad. From this point, you'll have one of three issues. The fan/temp sensor is def. The fan relay is def, or a wire is def. Hope that helps.

How can I get a wiring diagram for a opel astra 1999 2l fuel injection?

Have you tried Google? If not then suggest you invest in a workshop manual. Most of the Astra fuel injection system is solid state so unless you can actually see a break in the wiring the likelihood is that the problem will need a fault code reader to pinpoint.
