First off
no country stated, my guess USA rodeo.
no engine stated, there are gas or diesels
and different sizes. no size stated or cylinder count
fuel systems match that.'
if no idea at all what cause that leak, why not ask your mechanic to look and see what is actually leaking
are you in the RUST belt.? (wiki that)
if no rust, then , ID say bad hose.
we are blind here, and can not inspect your car nor test it.
nor tell you , in less than 10000 words how to be one.
in most cases the tank will have to be partially dropped to refit many parts here.

in many cases the hose can not be moved, unless the tank moves.
looking is all it takes, to determine that.
to work on old cars try buying a service manual.
it is covered in that book how to do that.
but Id be all over what leaks first. (diagnose first , then fix)

SOURCE: Repair/Replace 1994 Isuzu Rodeo Fuel Line

Is the line plastic or steel? They make repair kits for plastic lines, if you can find them. They are hard to find. If it is a steel line, you can go to the parts store and buy a pressure fitting. Cut the line and put the pressure fitting on. If it is the end of the lines, where they hook together or hook to fuel filter, it could be bad O-rings. Need more info.

SOURCE: how to fill transmission fluid 1999 isuzu rodeo ls

Lee2fixit doesn't know what he talks about on 99 Rodeos.

There is no dipstick tube - there are two access holes on the side of the transmission. The bottom one is to drain it out. The top one is to fill it back up. It is full when the fluid comes up to the bottom of the top hole.

Or you can take it to a dealer or service center to have it done.

SOURCE: no power to fuel pump 1996 isuzu rodeo

well i got a salvaged ecm from a junkyard and put it in, still did'nt start. took alternator off to have it checked , it is fine. put it back in and now it starts and runs fine. check the alternator and the connections, i heard the alternator controls power after the initial ecm prime when it is turned on. i have no idea how true it is, but worth a shot. if you can find a cheap ecm for a junkyard (mine was 75 bucks) i would try that afterwords.

1999 Isuzu Rodeo: the amount of gas in truck does not register on the meter. What could the problem be.

There could be a poor connection or an open circuit between the power control module and the fuel gauge sender, or the fuel gauge sender itself is bad. The sender is mounted to the gas tank and usually can be replaced without dropping the tank.

Gas leak on 1999 Isuzu Rodeo under neath the truck in front of the spare tire. What is the major problem and how much will it cost to repair?

If it is coming from on top of the gas tank, then you will need to inspect the fuel pump plumbing for a leak. It may be as simple as replacing the rubber gas lines.

My 1997 Rodeo had a leak coming from on top of the tank. After checking it out with a flashlight and a mirror, I discovered that the metal tube that runs down into the tank had rotted. Unfortunately, the metal tube was part of the fuel pump assembly and the entire fuel pump had to be replaced.

You can expect tp pay about $350 for a fuel pump from Autozone. I found one on Ebay (used from a junk yard) and replaced it myself for under $50.

Before you buy anything, make sure you identify the source of the leak. Like I said, it may just be a hose replacement.

Why my 199 isuzu rodeo gas guage shows blink all time eventhough it is gas tank is full

most common is the tank sender fails. disconnect it and check for dash indication to go away, if it does, replace sending unit.

Need to put out Check Engine Light

Sensor diagnosis? there is no sensor for the fuel neck, there is a pressure sensor that reads air pressure for the fuel tank, How do you know it needs a fuel neck? unless there is a crack, or a rust hole, I cant think of a reasone to replace it. you should be able to replace it if needed, A dealer will need to get that, or a salvage yard.

If P1627 is set when there is a problem with the fuel level sending unit, 100% sure on this problem, replace the fuel level sender in the gas tank, about 2.5 hours, very straight forward job

1999 CAVALIER WON'T TAKE GAS INTO TANK

After researching this for a lot of vehicles is this:

A ventilation line or the filler hose/neck/tube has possible damage. The only way to know is to drop the tank and inspect the lines going to and from the gas tank to the filler neck where you put the fuel pump nozzle in. If the neck has not been installed correctly, i.e., is twisted or dented/bent, this will cause the problem you are having.

If you can drop the tank and inspect these items, let us know what you find.

My car did the same thing, mine was the fuel sending unit in the tank. Replaced it and it's been fine since. Do you use the Emergency brake on a regular basis? If not it's probably just stuck and that is causing the light to stay on.
