Question about Dodge Cars & Trucks
When I first bought it a year ago it had a charging issue but cleaned the battery terminals and bolts and worked fine. It has been fine for over a year and Friday morning I went out and started it and it hasn't charged since
If you can jump start it and disconnect the jumper cables then let it run for a minute or two at just a bit off-idle to try a little charge provided your belt is turning the alternator pulley, then disconnect the negative cable from the battery. If it continues to run just off idle the problem is a sulphated battery. If it dies the it's time for a new alternator.

Testimonial: "It was the alternator, thanks for your help. With the TIPM I wasn't sure if you could still do that and heard the voltage was controlled through the computer. I was really afraid the TIPM was the problem, I've heard so many stories about them. Thanks again"
