How do I replace the starter in a 2000 hyundai sonata v6?

Access to the starter is from under the vehicle.... probaly on the back towards firewall and must be over exhaust (looking up from under it) and attached to transmission. REMEMBER: disconnect battery negative post cable 1st! If you want to be certain it is starter first either while it's still connected to battery, go under and check if you have constant 12v on main terminal and switch terminal should have 12v ONLY when key is "cranking"... hold key long enough to test for current. If all is as should be, continue to remove starter after disconnecting battery. Bench check both old (to be sure its bad) and new (so you don't install a defective one).

2007 hyundai sonata dtc 2119

How many miles on this vehicle?... Are you the original owner? This code is related to the throttle body and the Throttle Position Sensor. There's a chance this problem may still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty under PowerTrain. Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc., and if the repair may still be under warranty. Either way, you'll know what's wrong and what's needed to fix it.

Engine will not turn over, already changed fuel pump

If you want to keep guessing, you just might get lucky after you've spent hundreds of dollars on parts you don't/didn't need. If you could tell us which (if any) DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Code) are stored in the ECU (Engine Control Unit), we might be able to help you identify the problem and cause. The other solution is tow the vehicle to the nearest Hyundai Service Dept and have a qualified technician diagnose the problem. They'll give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time frame, etc.).

After replacing the battery I have no power at all

Possible causes:
1. New battery defective. ( Open circuit between battery cells ) Seen it before, therefore, possible.

2. Battery terminals not making connection ( check terminals )

3. Battery has different polarity than the original battery. ( Positive post and the negative post are reversed ) They do sell the reverse battery, therefore, possible. Basically, a battery hooked up backwards.
That would cause the Main fuse to blow resulting the no power in the vehicle.

I had the same problem with my 2000 Sonata a couple of years ago. It was the crank sensor and once replaced, it solved the problem.
