Hello,good day,yes charge the system with freon,then try to locate if there is a leak,if possible renew o ring,also check the condition of your hoses,observe the function of your ax. fan ,function of your thermostat(compressor cut off around 2 to 3 degrees,to prevent icing the evaporator coil)then you have a good aircon system,ty

Try recharging system with freon. Most A/C issues are low freon pressure.
