It has to do with the Electronic Throttle Control. ( as per the owners manual)

12. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Light 5.7L
Engines Only
This light informs you of a problem with the
Electronic Throttle Control system. If a problem
is detected the light will come on while the
engine is running. If the light remains lit with
the engine running your vehicle will usually be drivable,
however, see your dealer for service as soon as possible.
If the light is flashing when the engine is running,
immediate service is required and you may experience
reduced performance, an elevated/rough idle or engine
stall and your vehicle may require towing. The light will
come on when the ignition is first turned on and remain
on briefly as a bulb check. If the light does not come on
during starting, have the system checked by an authorized
dealer.

SOURCE: Interior lights don't turn on

check the fuses in the left kick panel, (by your left foot when in the drivers seat) the interior lighting fuse in there, also try putting fuses in the missing slots temporally. if you bought the car used some may have removed it because of a dome lamps staying on issue which is covered by a recall if you find that to be the case

SOURCE: my 2004 dodge durango cuts off and my check engine stays on

Save a lot of guessing and unnecessary expense & run into a PepBoys, or Autozone and have them scan for trouble codes (free) and go from there. If it's obvious from codes, what the problem is, buy the part while your there, but if not, get back to us with code(s) and we'll assist you further.

Did you leave the door open while you did the brakes? was the key on the on position or were you listening to the radio while doing the brakes? My strong intuition says, "Charge the battery".

By the look of the light on in the dash, you're low on oil, and your truck is idling too low unless the tach is stuck. This may be a warning buzzer to tell you that you're low on oil, or your oil pump may not be working properly. I'm just going by your dash. Hope this helps

2004 dodge durango code C140B

Sounds like a bad transfer case motor, or sensor in the transfer case. Check wiring to the case and check for pinched/chafed/broken wires.

Brake light flickers while driving down the road.

Check the brake fluid. It may be just low enough to occasionally turn the light on as you hit bumps and it sloshes a little. Add a little brake fluid to the reservoir and check the brake pads all around.
