Passenger side door lock comes up but drops back down and wont unlock either by the remote or the door lock

sounds like there is something bound up in the door panel, or the lock/unlock solenoid is sticking, either way seems you need to get the door panel off and visually inspect what is happening when you lock unlock the door. you will have to use a slim jim (not the delicious spicy meat snack) to manually release the door lock mechanism and over power the jam that seems to be either in the solenoid or the lock button connection to the latch, it is tricky so you will have to use a locksmith unless you are proficient with lockout tools. then get the panel off and investigate the mechanism further.

Does it crank at all? put a wrench or socket on the crank shaft. Turn it clockwise. If it doesn't move, it is locked up. Replace the engine.

97 mazda 626 wont shift from park. release button on side of shifter wont push in. removed knob, plastic rod in center wont move

The 1st thing you need to do is check the brake lights, if they are not wiorking the park lock solenoid doesn't get power and the park lock remains engaged.

Throttle cable stuck

I would suggest that the reason the cable broke use that table was seized in the first place. To see if this is the case disconnect the cable at both ends and try to move backward and forward manually. If you are able to move the table at all then I would suggest getting either a new cable or one from the auto wreckers.unfortunately the only way that you can unsieze a seized table involves many hours of lubricating the old cable by shaking it in a solution of diesel or some sort of rust penetrator.Regards

Key wouldn't turn on 2002 ford explorer b/c steering wheel seemed to be locked up.

This is common, if the wheel was turning at the time of the key being turn off it will put preasure on the wheel lock pin, this causes the lock to be diffuclt to turn, what happens is the steering wheel has a plate inside column, this plate has a lot of slots going around it, so when you turn the key off a pin comes up and goes into one of the slots that algin over it and if the wheel turns back the slot hits the pin with enough force to hold it, so when you turnn the key the linkage pulls the pin down bbut if its held the pin wont move and key wont turn unless you move the wheel which in turn moves the lock wheel away from pin, nothing is wrong its just something that happens, hope this helps.

Drivers main door lock won't acutate

{: ) If its only the driver door lock not working, open that door and try to put your ears as close as possible to the actuator area. You can use your remote to lock and unlock the door actuators. Can you hear the lock actuating even a little sound? Is the doorlock knob seem to move but wont push or pull thru? I hope you did. Because you just need to replace the actuator.
If thats not the case, it can also be an actuator, but you may need to confirm the wirings first.

My tire studs wont stay locked in

hi if you put the studs all the way and have come loose again take one of the studs out and check to see if the locking serations in the the wheel hub are in good nick as these and the serations on the stud have to be a tight fit and be pulled right up to the wheel hub you can do this by by putting a sleeve over the stud and pull it up using the wheel nut if they seem ok try a stud locking fliud on the studs before fitting and keep an eye on them if they come loose again you will have to change the wheel hub and locking studs yates210456
