Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
You cant bypass the IMMO,
when you see this, use the other FOB
never only own 1 fob or this will happen.
"be prepared like a boy scout" and win.
a spare key is vastly cheaper than any tow truck, !
the SKIM lamp is on
the key is a RF tag chip key
what we do is .
charge car battery if low. check voltage 12.6vdc rested or more is ok.
then scan it.
if the scans say the key is bad, it is.
if the scans tell you the skim module is bad it is.
if the scan tell you the BCM or PCM can not communicate
with other modules, you are doomed. you need pro ASE shop or dealer to fix that.

Try lock and unlock with key fob. Repeat. Open door with key. Now try and start.
