Did this ever get resolved? I am experiencing this exact thing with my 2011 Honda Pilot. Everything runs fine, but the following lights are all on when they should not be:

VSA Activation Light, VSA System, Brake Light, ABS Light

Changing batteries can pop codes. Best to have them cleared. If they come back up. Check what going on.

SOURCE: what causes the malfunction indicator lamp to comes on honda accord 2001?what can i do to correct it?

It could be anything at all that is electrical or sensor-related in nature. Your car is an OBD2 car (for emissions), and it's a very strictly-controlled system. As a result, pretty much anything that fails will cause the light to come on and will store a code in the computer. Go to AutoZone and ask them to scan your computer for codes - they'll do it for free, where a dealer will hit you for up to an hour's labor. They'll tell you the fault codes, which will point you in the right direction for the fix. Get the codes that come out of the scan and post them as a reply here and we can go from there.

SOURCE: my vsa system indicator and

It's hard to said what it is without a VSA code, but the VSA system monitor the rotation of you tires. Check and make sure you have the same tire size for all four tires. If the tires are not spinning at the same ratio could cause the VSA light to come. It could be a bad sensor or even the VSA modulator itself. It's hard to said. Good luck

My check engine light and vtm light are on in my 2008 Honda Pilot I checked the codes it's saying the egr valve is bad would that cause the Vtm light to come on to

Yes, the VTM-4 module will light up.

Here's the deal; when you manually turn on the Variable Torque Management-4 system, the light to the console switch is illuminated- letting you know that the vehicle is in traction control mode- and it is functioning properly.

However, if you did not manually activate the VTM, and your cruising along under normal driving conditions, but you start experiencing engine problems, like when the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve starts to malfunction, this malfunction will cause the engine to misfire and lose engine power.

When this loss of engine power occurs, the VTM perceives that the engine power is being reduced to restore traction to the car's drive line (axle and wheels)- so it triggers the light to go on.

The triggering of the VTM could also happen when the idle speed control valve malfunctions.

So once you have the EGR valve replaced, the codes on the OBD module should be cleared; the check engine light will turn off; and the VTM system light will turn off too.

Vsa indicator light stays on after installing wheel bearing

Hello there
First of all, with the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) light showing on the dash (marked VSA) it means that particular system has a problem or the push on/off switch located on the lower left portion of the dashboard and above the drivers left knee, has been pushed, turning that system off.

If you push the VSA button and the dash lamp goes out, then you're all set.
If the lamp remains on, you need to have the system checked by your Honda dealer or an independant shop who is experienced and knowledgable regarding this Honda system.

I hope this information is of assistance to you,

I have a 2008 Honda accord and a yellow light is on that's a triangle with exclamation point in it and a yellow light that says VSA is on what do they mean

2 seconds on any search engine will give you the answer to all of this. Buuuut...VSA:Vehicle Stability Assist.

The indicator light with the triangle staying on permanently is telling you that stability
assist is NOT currently active. It has either been manually disabled via
a button inside the cabin which is probably labeled..."VSA"(real confusing stuff
here), OR the system is malfunctioning due to a mechanical or
electrical problem and therefore is not functional. I also see that your CEL (Check Engine Light) is on. The light on the left, below the other two. See a service shop or the Honda dealer for a diagnosis of the specific problem(s). This could also be a byproduct of a transmission or wheel-speed-sensor issue which many stability control systems need the data from to determine the relative speeds of each wheel and decide the proper action to take to achieve optimal traction. The transmission would obviously be a worst case scenario but I\'ve heard this combination of lights being a symptom of a bad tranny before in a couple Hondas. Best case scenario you or another driver accidentally hit the VSA toggle button. Check the dash for this button and press it. Again, if that does not fix the issue take the vehicle to a reputable technician.

The yellow triangle with an exclamation point is lit up - what does this mean?

The Vehicle Stability Assist system is turned off. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is an electronic stability control system that works in conjunction with the Pilot's drive-by-wire throttle and its 4-channel ABS systems to enhance controllability while the vehicle is accelerating, braking, cornering or when the driver makes a sudden maneuver. VSA functions by applying brake force to one or more wheels independently while also managing the throttle, ignition and fuel systems to help the vehicle maintain the driver's intended path of travel.

You need to find the VSA button on the dash and push it, this will activat the VSA and turn off the yellow light.

What does the warning light of a yellow triangle and an exclamation point mean

Standard Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA ®) with Traction Control and Brake Assist Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is an electronic stability control system that works in conjunction with the Pilot's drive-by-wire throttle and its 4-channel ABS systems to enhance controllability while the vehicle is accelerating, braking, cornering or when the driver makes a sudden maneuver. VSA functions by applying brake force to one or more wheels independently while also managing the throttle, ignition and fuel systems to help the vehicle maintain the driver's intended path of travel.

The VSA system constantly analyzes data from seven sensors that monitor wheel and vehicle speed, steering input, lateral G forces and yaw rate. It compares the driver's control inputs with the vehicle's actual response. Whenever the actual response falls outside of a predetermined acceptable range, VSA intervenes with a corrective action.

For instance, if VSA detects an oversteer condition, the system may apply braking force to the outside front and rear wheels to counteract the unintended yawing effect. In the event of understeer, VSA may apply braking to the inside rear wheel while reducing engine power to help return the car to its intended course. VSA also provides a limited-slip differential effect for the front wheels by applying braking force to a slipping wheel, thereby redirecting driving force to the wheel with more traction.

There is a button on the lower left part of the dashboard that says "VSA". Push it and the triangle will dissappear (this should only be turned off if you are using a spare tire that is smaller than the rest of the tires).

Good luck.

2006 Honda crv, vsa, abs, and triangle light are permanently on

You are talking about the VSA activation indicator (triangle with exclamation point in the middle):
This indicator has three functions:

It comes on as a reminder that you have turned off the vehicle stability assist (VSA) system.

It flashes when VSA is active.

It comes on along with the VSA system indicator (the rectangle with VSA in it) if there is a problem with the VSA system.

This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, and when the ignition switch is turned to the START (III) position.

Hope this helps you understand the problem.
