Where can I find an aluminum water pipe that runs the length of the vehicle underneath for the rear heater and whats it's correct name?

Leaking under neath heating unit but it's not the hose but a little white knob underneath unit


ac drain . There could be a blockage in the AC drain pipe that runs under the car. This can usually be unblocked with compressed air they jack up vehicle takes 30 seconds to fix with vehicle hoist.
When it blocks up the AC unit builds up with water and leaks clear water inside the car. if it was green water it would be the heater core leaking coolant.

Fiat X19 heater hose


There are two heater hoses which go from the engine to the heater core. One begins on the driver side of the engine (comes off the water pump pipe) and goes between the engine and firewall, under the vehicle, and connects to a steel pipe under the vehicle.

The other begins on the passenger side of the engine goes thru the firewall, thru the spare tire compartment and into the tunnel of the vehicle where it joins a metal pipe which located underneath the shifter assembly. Remove the shift boot and the bolts underneath which secure the shift mechanism, and move the shifter out of the way so you can see the hose-to-pipe connection in the tunnel.

Mitsubishi montero 2003 leaking anifreeze in the rear


There is a set of two steel pipes that carry coolant/antifreeze to the rear mounted heater core for heater operation. These steel pipes/tubes rust out, and you end up with a coolant leak. Mitsubishi has superceded the steel tubes with aluminum tube set. Not an easy job to replace the two pipes since they are routed over and around a few items under the vehicle before attaching to the heater core at the r/r of the vehicle.

it is easily replaced. you will want the oem line though. the coolant line is for your rear heater and can be temporarily capped. fix this prob asap or the rear heater core will dry out and speed up the natural corrosion that happens inside.

There are two pipes that comes from inside the vehicle that has to do with the cooling/heating system. they are located at the passenger side. What is the correct name?


It is called the Heater core evaporator pipe bracket plus the heater core which comes with the pipes that your talking about, which other pipes fit to that runs threw out your motors cooling system
For a trained mechanic it take approximately 6 hours to replace and a factory part price is $150.00 (27120EA000 is part number#) you might be able to purchase aftermarket from a parts store .

LEAKING FLUID UNDERNEATH RIGHT REAR QUARTER PANEL, WHY?


Depends on what the "fluid" is. If it is brake fluid or gasoline or coolant you have a serious problem that must be fixed immediately. Gasoline is expensive and a fire hazard. Brake fluid implies that the brake system needs attention. If it is coolant and the vehicle has a rear heater there could be a leak in the heater core or the lines that run from the engine compartment to it. If it is plain ordinary water and the vehicle has rear air conditioning it is just the condensate that is produced when the rear air conditioner runs. It is normal and is no cause for concern.

Power flushing is usually not a good thing as the heater cores can become blocked.I would suggest to remove the lower rad hose and drain as much coolant as possible.Refill with clear water with lower hose reattached.Bleed system of air as you fill with water and keep filling until operating temp is reached.Drive and return and drain it again the same way,now refill with at least 1 and 1/2 gallons of dexcool and don't forget to add the vegetable based aluminum protector required in your vehicle available from gm and make sure you bleed the air from the system from the valve just to the rear of the rad filler neck on the engine at the end of the coolant pipe running across the front of the engine.

I have a 2000 Ford Windstar with the 3.8 v-6. The problem is the anti freeze line that runs underneath the length of the vehicle to the back left side which line is inlet and which is outlet? Thank you


You'll have to follow the lines as they leave the water pump. If they are arranged at the rear heater in a top, bottom fashion, the top is always the input line.
