Fixya ia a website that helps people know what to do when some item inside or outside the house is not working properly.
A question might be:
1) My 1994 Studley-Knurdley car will not start, it just clicks.
All the lights work, and the horn blows.
What should I check first?
2) My digital sewing machine will no longer sew my digits.
The needle goes up & down, but it just pokes holes, it will not sew. Help!
3) Where can I find parts for a 1993 Bell telephone with a Southern Railroad train engine for a handset?
God bless your efforts.

I have a 89 Mazda rx7 was in storage and I believe the gas dried up will not start

if it is spinning over as if there is no compression ( really fast) then remove the plugs and squirt oil in the chambers as you turn the crankshaft. This will seal the rotor seals and give compression.
replace the fuel as it may be stale. fill the float bowl by pouring fuel into the balance pipe in the throat of the carby (When the air filter is off you will see a pipe in the middle of the carby throat point up-- balance tube). Check that the fuel pump is operational.

Have A 1989 3500 with a 454 - TBI and my timing is off

The base timing on this truck is 0 degrees in drive with the est connector unplugged. I set them to 4 degrees BTDC MAX. but you may a issue with a slipped balancer remove #1 spark plug slowly turn engine clockwise with a coat hanger in the plug hole you can feel the wire come up to TDC then it will start to go down your balancer line should line up at the point of no more movement. These engines also need good fuel volume and pressure about 10-12 psi check fuel filter also.

It wont start. I was driving and it just shut off, didnt spudder out just shut off. it turns over like a normal start just doesnt crank. ive replaced the cam sensor behind the hormonic balancer. the fuel...

That's the crankshaft sensor by the harmonic balancer. Is it a V-10 or what engine? It could be the cam sensor which is located on the front of one of the heads I don't remember which one. Did the "Check Engine Light" come on? There should be code that will point you in the right direction. Also, check the fuses.

Fuel gauge not reading correctly

Try this - but only if you are savvy enough around fuel systems... (at your own risk ofcourse...)
The fuel pump and fuel sensor are an assembly sitting in the fuel tank.
Take off the fuel tank, take the fuel pump out carefully. You'll see a kinda "float" connected to a n arm on the fuel pump.
Clean the slide contact points thoroughly. It should fix it.
Notice that you're not bending anything the wrong way or you'll throw it even more out of balance....

Hope this helps,
Good luck.
