A misfire could be caused by a bad , clogged fuel injector . A vacuum leak . How are you reading a misfire ? A code ? A dirty mass air flow sensor can cause misfires . Low fuel pressure ,clogged fuel filter . When you replaced the fuel pump did you replace the ceramic sending unit resistor card with a new one ?
Fuel Gage
The IPC displays the fuel level as determined by the PCM- engine computer. The IPC -instrument panel cluster receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel level percent. The fuel gage defaults to empty if:
?€¢
The PCM detects a malfunction in the fuel level sensor circuit.

?€¢
The IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the PCM.

When the fuel level is less than a pre-determined value, the low fuel indicator illuminates.
Reviewing the fuel system description will further explain how the system functions. Refer to Fuel System Description .
Do you know about class 2 serial data communication .

replaced whole sending unit because i thought it had something to do with my fuel gauge and it didnt. so its all brand new now. put in 93 and berrymans cleaner to see if that will help if any carbon build up.

Test fuel injector , ohm reading ! And see if that injector is firing . Videos on youtube showing how .Is the PCM controlling that coil ?Is there spark coming from # 1 coil ? pull the plug wire an hold need ground and have someone crank the engine . Do you know what a cylinder balance test is . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7STocr9...

My 2003 hummer has a ''hard start'' it takes about 6 seconds for the engine to turn over. I did a full tune up on it, wire, plugs etc, but no luck, what do you think?

If you mean that the engine cranks over for 6 seconds before it fires up, that sounds like a fuel situation. You would need to install a fuel pressure gauge and turn the engine off for several minutes and see if pressure drops. The pump has a check valve that keeps the fuel line pressurized until you start the engine again, if that valve is bleeding off pressure it takes longer for the pump to prime the fuel system, hence your long crank. Could also be a regulator or fuel injector bleeding pressure. Good luck!

Why is my oil pressure gauge on my 2003 hummer h2 always read 80 when the vehicle is running, back to zero when shut off?

because when the engine is shut off, the oil pump is also shut off, therefore no oil pressure. no problem here!

Need advise on what to check, change, etc. on 99 chevy tahoe?

no,replacing the sending unit should fix the problem. haven't worked on one but typicaly you can just replace the unit on the fuel pump...(fuel pump and sending unit may be one piece)and have to replace both

High oil pressure in my humer h2

First thing that i would reccomend is switching to 5w30 oil since this is what GM wants you to run in your hummer. Next i assume your gauge is pegged out and doesn't fluctuate. You are going to have to take your hummer down to the local dealer and have a computer hooked up to see if the gauge is bad or the oil pressure sender is bad, more than likely the sender. thanks for using fixya !! have a nice day
