The very real possibility is that the transmission fluid change is the culprit.
Contact the transmission fluid changer and see if they will give you a new transmission for free, since they messed it up.
If they say no, that is the usual answer.
Now.
Do not drive the car as it is, and do not be surprised if you now need a new or rebuilt transmission.
You will be needing to have the car towed to your choice of repair garages.
You may wish to consider a different transmission servicing company.
God bless your efforts.

I would have the vehicle towed to the location that did the work and have them correct your problem. There are many components inside once you remove the transmission pan that could have been damaged, specifically the electronic harness component.

I have a 96 Taurus that will do reverse all day long but won't go forward. It did move a little while the fluid was cool but when the fluid gets hot it will not move forward at all. Changed the filter...

If the fluid level is full and it will go in reverse but not forward then I would say that you most likely have an internal mechanical problem that would require removing and repairing the transmission. It's possible that a clutch pack, seal, planetary, or other mechanical item has failed. It would be a good idea to contact a local transmission repair facility and have them check it out to be sure but I strongly suspect that it needs to come out and be repaired. Good luck, hope this helps!

1992 ford explorer, parked at night and next day would not go for

check transmission fluid level! warm it up and run it through all the different positions from park to first... do this a couple of times... check the level now in park while running! if low add half bottles of tranny fluid at a time "dont" over fill it. now repeat the selection process again in all different positions. if the level is good... then you may have to take it to a shop and have it looked at.

My 2000 F-150 has reverse but no drive, 1st or 2nd gears.

It sounds like you may have to pull the trany >>Tork converter problems << it takes less pressure to go in reverse than forward on a automatic>> pull the tranny pan replace the filter in side change oil and filter about 40 bucks look for shavings on old filter if there are some save the old filter to show the mechanic that is going to make the repairs..
pull the dip stick does the oil smell burnt this is another clue

hope this helps please leave great feedback

Won't go forward

check the caliper if it is stuck and also check out the front axels and the best way to do this put the front end on jack stands support the car in the back and if the wheels move freely then the problem is in the transmission check the fluid and the linkage on the transmission

Cant get the car to drive in gear

We had the same problem and I found this post on the web and it worked! Our car finally wouldn't go forward or reverse and I read a lot of posts saying that even replacing the transmission didn't fix the problem. We just pulled the sensor off today and are trying to find a new one but the car DRIVES now. Thank you to whoever posted this solution. 15th Jul 2007, 21:04 Bought my wife a 99 Ford Taurus at auction. Like others the Transmission sensor gave out. A temporary quick fix is to open the hood, and simply pull off the sensor connector plug on top of the transmission. The transmission will now operate properly in both OD and drive. You will notice your rpm's are steady as your speed goes up - loss of fuel economy due to the failed sensor ( to technical to explain here...). Two things to do: Change out the old transmission fluid immediately - its gonna require synthetic fluid at a higher price, but is worth it as it shifts far better now. And change out the coolant. In fact, I suggest changing out ALL of the fluids and start clean. Until you get the sensor replaced your fuel economy will **** for a while, but its better than not having wheels at all and it IS safe to drive.
