Just replaced my front shocks last week, but when jacking up rear tires, front shocks dropped to touching the tires again, any others problems?

Are these air shocks? If they are, then the extra weight on the front wheels can push air past the "O" ring in the inlet air fitting.

How do I replace the struts and shocks

well the rear are easy take the wheel off,,,put a jack under the rear axle on the side you are doing and put tension on the jack to jack it up alittle, remove the 21mm lower shock bolt and the 18mm top shock bolt and release the jack, then remove shock and reinstall new,,,they are easy do the same fo rthe other side and then go to the front,,,take off wheel,,, no jacking up required for front struts,,,remove the two 18mm nuts and bolts that connect the strut to hub and then 18mm nut the holds the sway bar end link to strut,,may may need a vise grip on the back side of the end link to hold it from spinning as they rust fast, then open the hood and hold the strut with one hand thru the wheel well and take the top strut mount nut off under the hood 18mm,watch because the strut will fall in the wheel well so hold it,i would advise using a air gun to do this all other wise youre gonna have a hard time to remove the sway bar end link nuts

Rear Suspension on 1996 Cadillac Deville

you may want to buy regular heavy duty shocks and put on the car to raise the back up high enough to do what you are trying to do.

Rear shock replacement on 2002 lesabre with elec. levelers

The rear shocks are eather standard gas shocks, or air shocks. If you have and air system to control the shocks then you would just have to unbolt them and disconnect the air line. Install them just as you took them off. If its just reagular shocks then you would have to remove 2 bolts.

Some cases there are 4 wheel struts, then you would have to unbolt them from the fender wells in the trunk.

Not to bad of a job but it can take a few.
