SOURCE: noisy front wheel bearing

Yes the bearings can be changed on this truck. The bearing races will need to be removed from the rotor to do this use a punch and hammer once the rotor is removed. You will need inner bearing and race, outer bearing and race, and a seal, plus grease to pack the bearings. The hub on these trucks is the rotor. Please rate.

SOURCE: low oil pressure on 96 toyota 2200cc engine

The oil pump can be changed without pulling the engine.

The impressive looking thing is the balance shaft assembly. These counter-rotating shafts balance out the inherent vibration of the engine. You can remove it, as long as you do not disrupt the gear placements relationship to each other. The balance assembly is set to a specific point.

Can you replace main bearings without removing engine citroen c4 grand picasso 1.6 diesel 2007

You cannot replace the main bearings without removing the engine. only the rod bearings are replaceable if the oil pan will clear chassis for access to crank shaft. Why do you need main bearings on a 2007, these bearings should be good for 500,000 miles. what happened? (run without oil?)

Can I change the connecting rod bearings on a 1.8 2010 focus with no issues

If your connecting rod bearings are bad, you probably have some scoring on the surface of your crankshaft journals as well. If not, a simple replacement of the bearings should be a doable job for a mechanic.

Front end rotation noise

It should have been thoroughly checked. Noises like these on four wheel drives could several different things. A bearing, CV axle, or the differential, or bearings in the differential. A wheel bearing will make different sounds when making a turn. A CV axle is a constant sound. Differential bearings can come and go, depending on if it is a bearing for the axle or a pinion bearing. Axle side bearings usually make a constant noise. The differential can also come and go. Depends on acceleration or slowing down. All these sounds are also with a vibration. Slight to harsh.

Loud squeaking.

To me, I think I am hearing a dry bearing.
However, an old worn out belt can make the same sound!
You could take off the belt and try spinning the pulleys to hear which is noisy, or you could use a mechanic's stethoscope to find out.
A mechanic's stethoscope is a really long screwdriver or metal rod about 2 or 3 feet long that they put on different parts (put the handle end to your ear) to hear the noise each part is making.
If your belt is good, try the alternator bearings.
There is also an idler pulley or maybe 2 that could be noisy.
Be blessed.

I have a spun bearing on 1 cylinder on my 2005 chevy equinox do i need to replace the piston or can i get away with just repiring the crankshaft

A spun bearing on a connecting rod usualy requires turning the crank. You can sometime get away with filling off the worst part, and using emmery cloth on it, but you need to have a mirometer to check the crank shaft. The connecting rod could also be damaged. It takes a good eye and a good hand stone to remove any burrs. You can then clean up the old bearing and shim it to test the bearing surface with bluing. Sorry this is rather complex, it just takes a lot to keep an engine togeather as several thousand RPM. It will take a good machinist to verify the repairs.

I bought a 2005 Equinox in April 2006 with only 23100 kms (14438 miles). In May 2008 at 43270 km, I had to replace the left front wheel bearing (BR930326) and associated link-kit; I paid $394.22. In April...

No, this is not normal. I would suspect the bearing is not being installed correctly. Is the same mechanic installing the bearing each time? Check the manufacturers installation specifications and torque requirements.
If the installation is being done correctly, you will have to start checking suspension components, in particular the steering knuckle the bearing is attached to. The bearing assembly must be installed and seated flat and flush in the knuckle assembly. The axle nut must be torqued to specification with no weight on the bearing.
Good luck.

When car is running, light noise in motor. sounds like a rod bearing. What kind of mechanics do I need to do to it?

You need highly skilled and experienced technicians to both identify and repair this problem. (but only ones with yellow hats...only kidding!) You can differentiate between a rod bearing and a lifter problem by increasing rpm's from idle. Generally a lifter noise will go away, a rod noise will get louder. Rod or main bearings also lower oil pressure when they wear. It takes lots of experience to tell the difference between a rod or main noise but generally with today's crankshaft construction, neither are repairable using anything but a new crank, unless wear is extremely slight.A rod bearing can be replaced in-car. A main cannot.
Both jobs are expensive.
