I REPLACED THE WATER PUMP AND NOW IT ACTS AS IF THE PUMP IS NOT PUMPIMG WATER THROUGH THE MOTOR IV BLEED THE SYSTEM OVER AN OVER BUT IT STILL HEATS AND COOLENT RUNS BACK OUT THE RADIATOR ALL GET IS AIR WHEN I BLEED THE SYSTEM USING THE BLEEDER BOLT AT THE THERMOSTAT
Sounds like a blown head gasket. That will push the water out of the engine, and get you exhaust instead.
Testimonial: "I DONT THINK ITS THE HEAD GASKET BECAUSE WATER IS NOT IN THE OIL NEITHER IS THE VAN STEAMING AT THE EXHAUST"
Water/oil mixture are not always part of head gasket, and initially steam at exhaust isn't either... Do a compression test. Pressurize the radiator cold, and then crank without sparkplugs. You may see fountains.... I know I did.
poured water through radiator top hose until radiator ran over reconnected hose..runs fine..ya answer was helpful for future use Iv always looked for steam or water in oil
