Sounds like it could possibly be time for a simple tune up. Spark plugs, Plug wires are sometimes the easiest fix.

How do i chance plugs and wires in my 96 grand voyager , Im thinking i mite be abel to reach from under neath but looks kind of tight ??

Is this the rear bank that you are having trouble with.....I do not know about the 3.0l but the 3.3l is greatly eased by removing the upper intake manifold. Disconnect the throttle body and rear alternator mount bolt then remove the bolts holding the upper intake to the lower intake. Now all 3 rear plugs are in easy reach. Reassemble in reverse remembering to torque appropriately.

How to change the rear spark plugs of a 96 plymouth voyager

The engine plenum will have to be removed. This is what the air goes thru to get to the engine intake. Remove ground, mark tag remove required cable, wires and hoses, take digital photos as you go. Be patient. The good news is we don't have to change them every 20K miles.

1996 Plymouth voyager reverse lights not working, transmission replaced this week and they claimed the reverse lights have nothing to do with reverse lights. owners manual does not show a fuse for back up...

They are full of baloney. Ther's a switch underneath the shift lever that engages when you shiht into reverse. The mechanic probably loosened it when reconnecting the shift linkage to the new tranny.

Thay may have knocked the switch out of position, which would cause the lights to go on in some other gear than reverse. That would be the first thing I check.

Good luck !

Gear Stuck in Parking

linkage jamed up / obstructed ? Try blocking the wheels and having someone IN THE CAR with their foot on the brake , and climb under the hood and disconect the shift linkage. Try moving it by hand. If this works , then the linkage should be looked at , it is probably a cable linkage and can be replaced with a salvage yards for cheap enough.
