I replaced a fuse for the instrument panel on a 2004 Honda Pilot. As soon as the new fuse went in, the airbag light came on and won't go off. How do I reset it?

There is no reset for the SRS system. The system performs a self test every time the key is cycled to the on position. If there is a fault detected the system will not arm. To get the light off you need to have a scan tool hooked to the OBDII port that is capable of accessing the SRS diagnostic module.

Honda Pilot 2004 Car battery died because we left the lights on. Jumped battery. Works great but NOW the fuel gauge and hot/cold gauge is not registering. The fuel gauge needle just stays past Empty and...

Check fuse No. 9 (10A) in the driver's side kick panel fuse box. But if your other gauges are working (speedometer, tachometer, low oil light, etc.) then it is possible that when you jumped the battery you inadvertently reversed the cables and created a reverse voltage. This will impact some of the vehicle electronics. If you feel this might be the case, you should test the cooling system temperature sender to see if it failed. If it did, you should suspect that the fuel gauge drive circuit located in the instrument cluster is also failed.

My 2004 Honda Pilot rear wiper and washer fluid stopped working and the air bag light came on. How do I fix it?

You blew a fuse, the rear wiper and side impact airbags both run off the same 7.5mw fuse that can be found with all them other fuses under your dash. I don't believe that its labeled. just pop them out one at time until you find the one that's blown!

97 honda civic instrument panel lights do not work.

your bulbs are burnt out in the dash. You will need to replace them. when your fuse went out it was either that or your bulbs and your fuse went out. Now that you have a new fuse your bulb was the weaker link so that went out. hope this helps

Honda Pilot 2005 windshield wiper stopped working

What you are doing gets things working again, but its just not safe. If the wiper motor or wiring has a short in it, it creates heat, and the wires leading to the wiper motor are not set up to handle the amperage that the higer rated fuses are sending trough them. Its only going to get worse, and if you put in a larger fuse, it will get hotter. Eventually you will have a fire. You need to find out what is causing the issue and get it resolved. I am not sure that the SRS(airbag) system will work with the light on either. Id take it to another shop if you cant afford the repair work at the honda dealership. Good luck.
