Do I need to get a new head unit to put an amp and subwoofer in my mitsubishi verada?

Amps have a high and low input. You can run some speaker wire from your rear speakers to the high input on your amp. It comes with a small white plug with four wires. Use the green for one side, and the grey for the other! So no, you do not!

Verada jerks at high speeds

you may have a blown fuse. check that first and if none then i would suggest taking to a pro and having a scan on it. could be a sensor.

My mitsubishi verada 97 requires H7 light bulbs although some one has fitted H4 bulbs which are three pronged. H7 are 2 pronged but narrower and will not fit socket. Is there an adapter or a workaround....

Veradas use a special two pronged bulb. I'm not sure if it is a two pronged h4 or a larger h7.
Switch you're high beam lights to the normal beams for the time being (assumeing they are working fine) then take it to mitsubishi for new bulbs

It's a little motor that i believe opens and shuts a damper to do with the climate control, a quick fix is just adjusting the cabin temp up a few notches.
