SOURCE: is ir normal to replace
The rear brakes should last 70,000 miles, if
you disassemble,clean & lube once a year,
on the rear of most all cars
My question is --- have you not had years or decades
of experience with other vehicles?
If so, why would you ask that question?

SOURCE: I just purchased a used 2011 Mercury Mariner Priemere with 25,000 miles on it. I traded a 2010 Mercury Milan Priemere in. Both Vehicles have the 3.0 Vortec engine. The engine in the Milan seemed to be
yes, but first check your oil so you don't get embarrassed there if it turns out to be just a lack of oil.

Not normally especially for a late model car. Is it out of warranty? If so I would check the fuses first.

There should be a relay that controls your headlights. That would be located in your power distribution box under the hood.
