SOURCE: can u please tell me where the engine number for a

The VIN should be available in several places. You should be able to see it under the windshield in front of the driver's seat (look from the outside), or on a sticker on the driver's side door pillar (where the door latch is). It will also be stamped onto the engine block.

SOURCE: 2002 Ford explorer limited. Location of coolant sensor.

locate radiator in front of engine , find top hose from it to engine , look just to left of where this hose connects to engine , that sensor there is the coolant sensor , it has a large black plastic wire connector on it
never remove a sensor on an engine that's not had it's fluid level lowered and is sure to be cooled down , serious burns it can give you if you don't take heed !

1993 ford explorer - toublshooting fuse/electical problem

I believe the fuse for your starter is in the power distribution box, 93 explorer 4.0L 4X4. find diagram for this in Chilton Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer 1991-1999 Repair Manual 26688 page 6-43 Fig.88 Be aware that there are (4) figures for the 93 4.0L explorer and each shows a different part of the same engine wiring. See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers. The diagram for inside fuse box, page 6-31 fig.63 I hope this helps
