Question about 2003 Saab 9-3
The service theft alarm message stays on and interferes with the starting system. I want to disengage the alarm.
Taking out the alarm fuse will cause the engine to never start. Try locking and unlocking the driver's door with the key to see if it resets. If not then service the alarm system.

Testimonial: "Thanks, I will most certainly try that first. I also discovered that locating the Theft Security Alarm under the left wheel arch and removing it altogether (or simply disconnecting it) avoids the start problem altogether and kills the annoying siren's meaningless deployment as it's battery dies. Servicing the alarm system is not my best investment option, but check this out -> https://youtu.be/NiHcd-8h6JY"
