I would test connections first although you could switch out the relay if it plugs in its the same and their must be more then one .As far as the fuse it could be but in most cases the fuse wen't for a reason .
Its a rough place to keep a good connection I would start wiggleing wires around at the connectors with it running and see what starts working then zero in on that information maybe do some cleaning and bending as required .
