I have seen starter solenoids weld them selves closed to where the starter is constantly engaged. I would suggest removing the starter and having it tested.

2003 lexus es300 won't start... radio lights and windows work. Tried a jump start, still doesnt work...

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

My 2003 Lexus es300 has electrical problems but only on hot days above 90 degrees. When driving the electrical power fades on the dash and sometimes clicks out. When you turn the car off it will not start...

Well it sounds like you are loosing the alternator - could be the alternator itself or a connection in the harness. Things like diodes and relays can stop working in high heat conditions.
I would check the output of the alternator the next time the lights start dimming.

My 1999 Lexus ES300 wouldn't start this morning. There's no sound when trying to turn over...no clicking are anything. When I listen under the hood there's a slight click in the alternator

Hi Susie, Turn on the head lights and get someone to observe them while trying to start. If they dim during trying to start, replace the battery. Regards John

2002 lexus es300 not starting battery is good just making strain noise when trying to start.

Either the battery is not holding a "deep charge" or starter is drawing too many amps. Try jump starting see if that works. If it starts with jump, you can have tested at any good parts store, many do it for free. I'd start w/having them load test your battery.

'98 Lexus ES300 Won't Start--But Has New Battery!

If your is exhibiting the same signs as a dead battery it really sounds like your alternator is bad. If you are handy, you can remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store like autozone and they will test it for you. This is not a hard job to do, usually 2 electrical connections, 3-5 mounting bolts and you have to pop the belt off. Just reverse it to install a new one. Good luck! - Nick
