Could this be a vopor lock problem?

i have not heard of fuel injected vehicles vapor locking, best thing to do is have it put on a scanner, it is far cheaper than changing a lot of parts.

Car starts and runs perfectly until engine reaches operating temp then loses power starts poping spitting firing all over the place until it dies. then it wont start again for 2-3 hours until engine cools...

Possibly the catalytic is plugged. How to know? Has this been getting worse over short time period week or two? Check out at exhaust shop..
Good luck.

Lumina still won't start until engine cools down for an hour

The coil pak is probably bad.
you need three things to start air fuel and spark. You turn it oven and it wont run,if the fuel is the problem try this.spray a little 2+2 carb cleaner down the throttl body if it runs ,fuel is the problem.
It can also be as simple as the ECM the computer could be going bad.
