Aluminum alloy die casting is the casting process that injecting the high temperature molten aluminum alloy liquid into die cavity with high pressure and high speed for moulding. Features of this casting method are product precise forming and high production efficiency. However, the conventional die casting process is defective. Because the gas in the mold cavity cannot be eliminated effectively, the gas in the mold cavity cannot be eliminated effectively, and the inner parts of the casting can be left to form the defects of the pores, to make the mechanical property of the casting poor. In order to solve this problem, people use the method of vaccum pumping, that is, the gas in the cavity of the die casting can form a certain vacuum or negative pressure state, thereby reducing the inner hole defect of the casting.

What Reasons Limiting Casting Mold to Develop in China?


First, although importance of casting mold foundry is recognized by more and more people, recognition has not reached to due height yet. So, status of mold is still not clear and policies cannot be implemented completely. Received supporting strength and intensity are insufficient. Besides insiders, only a few people know about features of mold industry. To get more supports, publicity is still priority. Second, compared with international advanced level, Chinese casting mold industry is still backward on idea, design, craft, technology and experience. In general, China is still learning from advanced countries, lacking of innovation. Information manufacturing and management, innovation are not realized. China is equivalent to intermediate level. Compared with advanced level, the whole industry level is backward by about 15 years. Among that, online test and information management of casting mold are backward by more than 15 years. Reducing gap has a long way to go forward.Third, the high economic growth rate is almost ended. In the future, Chinese economy will show the trend of intermediate speed. for starters there will be one for each bank. IN the timing chain book it shows as casting mounted by 3 bolts to the heads and the sensor is a cylindrical attachment on to of those castings

manufacturer warranty is one year from date of purchase for workmanship defects,i.e. clearcoat peeling or chrome peeling or worm holes in the casting.

Engine identification number 3789404 and 3764478. both GM blocks. getting major run-a-round on silly sites


Hello, according to my manual the 3789404 is the casting number for the 292 cubic inch inline-6 cylinder block produced from 1963-1976

I do not show a 3764478 number...3764476 is a 235 CID inline-6 from years 1958-1962
These are Chevrolet castings.

Although alloy wheels are softer than steel, chrome and aluminum wheels, there are no reports to confirm they should not or cannot be used. wheels are dented due to impacts such as hitting a curb or getting in an accident.

Is it a problem if I add "green" coolant to my 2004 5.3liter V8? This coolant is recommended for 2000 or older models.


Yes, These engines are a combination of aluminum castings and cast iron castings. The orange dexcool is designed to control the acidity of the coolant. If you put in green it is going to eat away at the aluminum. It could cause leaks in your head gaskets, intake gaskets, water pumps and promote clogging of important coolant areas in the block.
