Am getting no fire on plugs I just replaced them move my air breather and car turned off

Sounds like you disconnected a wire when you moved the breather. Also, some cars have switch that won't let the car run when breather is removed.

Breather hose needs to be replaced

If you're a hands on person you could change it yourself. What engine do you have? And can you describe where the pipe is? A picture would be great. Let me know.

What should the air intake breather look like on a 1996 chevy blazer

Hi there:

An air breather replaces the intake vent hose on your crankcase, which vents the spent gases inside your head out into the atmosphere instead of back into your intake track. This keeps your engine clean and in top condition. Aside from that, air breathers also improve the appearance of your engine bay.

Installation of an air breather is a simple process that takes minutes. Simply remove the hose on your crankcase and replace it with this breather. Most breathers come with a clamp already included.

How do u put oil catch can on 04 rsx

Hi, if this is a modification which you wish to carry out, tou will need to find a suitable container, and fit it in a convenient location in the engine bay. Then fabricate lines from the engine breathers, ie, cam box, engine top end breather and the engine block, oil pan, breathers to the catch tank. Ensure that the catch tank is baffled and has a pressure release . breather fitted to avoid being pressurised and then dunping oil..

Look in a competition car magazine, they will have one listed for your vehicle.

Good luck.

Oil is getting on air breather 2004 ram hemi

Hi,
oil getting on a breather can indicate excessive crankcase pressure. Check all the `crankcase breathers and the valve cover breathers.

if the crankcase has been overfilled with engine oil. The crankshaft has to "beat" it's way through the oil and thus acts as a pump and sends oil all over the internal surfaces of the crankcase.

If the engine cylinders have developed 'blow-by" they will also contribute to an increase in crankcase pressure which will be evident by oil in the breathers. The fumes / pressure in the crankcase are designed to be removed by the engine breather system, and drawn through the engine etc.

I hope this info helps.

Where is the breather filter on a 1994 ford taurus?

If you mean the crankcase breather filter, I've looked into this, but I haven't found any reference to this existing on a 1994 Taurus (at least with a with a 3.8L engine), except for some online parts companies that list it for the 1994, but either they're wrong, or if there were 1994 Tauruses that have a breather filter, I suspect it's for an engine other than the 3.8L. It's used on earlier Taurus models, but only up to 1991. Some people say the PCV valve performs the function of the earlier breather filter, but I don't see how, since the PCV valve just opens and closes, and does no filtering once it's open. On one web page where breather filters are discussed (http://www.taurusclub.com/forum/82-maintenance-repair/79542-bad-pcv-valve.html), it's said that adding one to an engine that didn't come with one, doesn't help increase horsepower or mileage, and can bring in air that's not metered by the MAF, which can actually reduce horsepower and mileage.

2001 VW POLO 1.4 16v AHW, breather hose problem

if heave oil deposits are coming trough the breather then you may have other problems, such as worn piston rings causing exsessive blow by resulting in the oil being in the intake box, a filter will only create a restriction coursing more poblems, do a compresion and cylinder leak down test to find out how well the rings are sealing.
