The fault codes will be specific to the make
indications are a fuel blockage problem
check venting for the fuel tank, blocked fuel filter ( excessive water problem)
check for air getting into the fuel system ( fuel filter, loose line connection etc)
call a dealer service center for a better diagnosis and an explanation of the codes

My Megane driving along sudden loss of power, service light and check injection, if I switch engine off clears fault for a while, but keeps happening ?

Might be your crankshaft sensor or your ox?geno sensor, th3 only way to know is by putting a scanner and see what code (s) it gives you.

Loss of power on acceleration & hills no warning lights showing

Have the codes read anyway. Turn the key on, do you see a check engine light? We work on auction cars also. To many times I see that the light is not on.

When driving my 1997 Audi A 4 1.8t there is a loss of power around 3000 rpm, what could be causing the issue?

run the fault codes and look for a problem area in the vane actuator of the turbo
it could be a sensor problem or a MAP sensor problem
this is indicated by the pressures being generated or not generated by a turbo generating pressure from the throttle opening on acceleration or held at constant speed

Is the check engine light on? If so what are the codes? It could be many things like you might be in need of a good tune up or the fuel filter is clogged up.

Loss of power, max 2200rpm in top gear

thats a fail safe, theres so may codes that cause it to go into fail safe mode. the list is too long to list, best free advice, go to autozone or advance auto parts, and have them read the code(s) for free. Id definatly do that asap. because without knowing which code it is to start with your just shooting in the dark with solutions. for the jeep. 25+ codes can cause this.
