Sounds like bad wires/plugs. I would start at the ECM. mounted n the fire wall on the passenger side.

Ford f150 loss power

Anytime the check engine light comes on, you get the computer scanned for trouble codes to find out where to look.
When the warning light is on, the computer is either bypassing a sensor or is in limp mode to get you to a garage. So the mileage and power is going to be less than normal, sometimes alot less.
Remember, the trouble codes are only a guide, not a sure thing on what to replace. Components have to be tested before they are replaced.

1999 ford F150 4x4.. Starting problem, After 30 - 50 successful starts, will not crank. Jumping battery doesn't work, battery tests strong. One mechanic concludes there is a short but cannot isolate it....

Is the no crank no start after the truck has run for some time ( i..e heat ) ?

Have you checked the starter motor relay on the firewall for power on the smaller AWG wire ( there are 2 large, and 1 small, the small AWG wire is a Tan w/ Red stripe wire. This should have + VDC when the key is in the start position. If it does, the starter motor relay needs to be replaced.
If not, the DTR ( Digital Transmission Range ) sensor could be the issue, check the connector on the driver's side of the transmission to see if the connector is dirty and put all the way together.

1998 ford f150 will start on a regular basis they one day it will not start.I jump it it starts and it will continue to start for days then you go out to start it and it will not start.

It appears that your battery is being run down by a device sapping energy from the battery. I would guess off the top of my head that it is the brake lights as that is a common problem of vehicles. The brake light is activated by a small switch mounted under the driver's side, up near the leg of the brake pedal. That switch is spring backed so that when you depress the pedal the shaft of the switch is let forward and turns on the brake light. That switch sometimes comes loose or half cocked in the housing and stays activated all the time until you let the brake pedal loose and the leg of the pedal depresses the switch shaft just enough to turn off the brake light. The solution is to replace the switch, at about 15 bucks at your Advance Store. or 10 bucks plus shipping on the internet. You can check when you leave the vehicle to see if the brake lights are still on. Mind you, this does not happen all the time as sometimes it is cured by the action of the brake pedal knocking the shaft back in line.

99' expedition wont start in cold weather why?

This is information straight from the repair manual.
1. Defective spark plugs. the gap is to wide to get a nice spark to fire the engine.
2. Defective coolant temperature sensor.
3.Fuel not reaching the injectors, check filter, pump and fuel lines.

I would check one of the first 2. The temp sensor is where i would start.

1999 ford f150, air bag light flashes 27 what

The PAD ( Passenger Airbag Deactivation ) light is inoperable.

Could be unpluged if you have been working around there, or the bulb could be out.

Radio shack sells the same type bulb, if you are good with soldering it is an easy fix.
