2004 jeep grand Cherokee
When the ABS warning (or any other for that matter) comes on a fault code is set in the computer control module, to start diagnosis and testing you need to have that fault code, that requires the ABS system be scanned for fault codes. Right now the ABS system has been disabled until the problem is repaired.

remove the operators guide.
read it, it states, get the car serviced, like 99.9% do, im told.
or read the manual. WJ
it shows scanning it next.
go to page 33 , ABS and RTM read the manual.
