I suggest checking all belts and hoses and make sure fluids are full before making any long journey.

How would someone know that,by guessing?

The car has to be test driven with professional
tools & then shop tested, after you go along for
the ride with shop folks & give them some insite
or help with the cars problems

Engine fault code P1391

that is: Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP which means intermittent loss of crank sensor or cam sensor signal most likely something a dealer or tech needs to repair.
Hope that helps, if this was accurate please give a thumbs up so others know too

I have a 2008 Jeep Patriot and every time I drive long distances my car's overheating oil light will come on and it will shut itself down. If I let the car sit for ten minutes it will start fine. I took it...

Go into the service bay with your paper work
& ask the sevice manager to bring over whom
ever worked on it & get things discussed to you

Will they fix it, probably not

I would never go to a dealer but
you have to get an education and some
answers on your current problem.

Codes or Not has nothing to do with
trying to diagnose a customers complaint

Your vehicle shuts off
Is that what they consider okey, ask the service mgr

You don't have a lifetime warrantee
It will run out at 70,000 or 100,000 or sometime

Back of car is fully raised

The air ride suspension is stuck in the fully charged position. You need to find someone familiar with this system. I am not familiar with repairing it.

Electrical Problem

Clean & inspect battery connections, (both ends), charge battery fully & have it load tested. I suspect bad connection, bad battery, and at worst, worn out starter.
