I was just reading up on it. The flap inside the throttle body gets gunk on it and wont close giving faulty info to the car after it reaches operating temp.

Try disconnecting battery for about 20 min then reconnect. Then turn the key to the on position but do not start it for about 15 seconds, then turn the key off, then try starting it. This should reset the computer.

I am driving down the road and it starts jumping, choking and then dies. I have to pull on the side of the road, put in park, and restart. It will drive for a few miles and do this again. Code P0304 comes...

Having the vehicle year, model ,etc would help

If it is a Lincoln LS --- I would say you have a really bad
COP Ignition Coil & it went into ETC Fail Safe & you
can only drive 6 mph & then it shuts off

PO 304 is the coil for cylinder #4 on passenger side
of a V8 at back or rear next to firewall
Front driver side on a V6

15 min job to replace & $35.00 to $60.00 depending
on internet or autoparts store

I would suggest Rock Auto on internet & get Wells Brand

When I drive the lumina about 20 miles and brake to stop engine dies. Will restart in park but as soon as put in drive or reverse it instently dies after it cools about 10-15 minets can restart and drive

a bad crank sensor causes a car to shut down while driving down road. and will not start back up for about 10 minutes. have car scanned to read the problem codes. any auto parts stores will scan for free.

Stalling and hard starting

check the harmonic balancer(crank pulley) to see if it is loose or soaked with oil. if it is loose, the balancer could be broken off around the crank shaft. try turning it by hand, it should not turn easily.
if it is oil soaked this wil also damage the balancer.
these 2 conditions can throw the timing in and out, causing your problem.
good luck

Car dies randomly for no reason.

My car use to do the same thing. I would be driving down the road and it would die. after 15 min. or so the car would start. I replaced the crank sensor and this solved my problem.
