To replace the mirror you need to take the door panel out there is two or more screws after that you need to pull hard to separate the panel from the door the panel clips will give some resistance but dont be afraid after that the mirror is easy

Pasenger window only goes up and down with drivers controls

The pasenger side window button may be bad or wire hornest that runs from pasenger side kick panel in door jam, to the inside of the door. open passenger side door there will be a rubber boot between the door hinges.pull the rubber boot back and check for broken wires.

How do u install a side mirror on a 1996 buick regal gs 2 door pasenger side

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Replace pasenger side mirror

it looks like you have to remove the door panal and unbolt the mirror and dissconect it, it should be the same, on pretty much all cars you have to remove the door panal to get to the mirror and it looks like cadillac hasn't changed much on stuff like this, they just chaged the look and style of the door panal, hope this helps any should be an easy fix but take your time and be easy with it, stuff can brake, good luck on your cadi, hope this helps you out.
