Do 2000 Pontiac grand Prix gtp and 2003 Pontiac grand am parts interchange

You have to get down to the individual parts for each model and compare the numbers. For example if you are looking for an alternator, you go to a parts site like autozone and put in the year make and model for one model year and look up the part, then do the same for the other model year and compare part numbers.

Dont know what year my jeep is

the build date is not the year model date.
ever wonder how car 1996 is made way before the dec 1995 date?
magic, no , its cars are made early.
your car is 1996. year model all parts in stores are by model year.
there is one exception. and that is (allcars)
that when buying from the dealers counter , the VIN suffex numbers
can infact effect the correct part to buy.
this is because, parts can in fact change mid year.
that is why factory parts always fit. for that and 100 other reasons.

When was my car manufactured?

The vin number is the model year. If the door tag says manufactured in '06, usually given as month and year, would be actually manufactured in late '06 as an '07 model car. Actual date of manufacture is often important in ordering parts, as modifications can occur during that model year's production run.

I own a Honda CRV 2007 model. The battery just died, what type do I ask for? Will most dealers know if I simply state year make and model of the car I want the battery for?

THE DEALERSHIP OR AUTO PARTS STORES CAN FIND WHAT BATTERY YOU NEED.JUST TELL THEM MODEL YEAR TYPE OF VECHICLE.ENGINE SIZE AND TYPE OF FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM.HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED OUT WHEN YOU BUY ANOTHER BATTERY BECAUSE BATTERY JUST 3 YEARS OLD.THEY CAN LAST 5 YEARS.IF BATTERY FAILS TOO SOON IT COULD BE DEFECTED BUT HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECK.WITH ENGINE RUNNING ALTERNATOR OUT PUT SHOULD BE 13.5 - 14.5 VOLTS.
