SOURCE: clutch pedal stays down
Still have air in system.. Try this: Pull pedal up,fill reservoir to the top, open bleed nipple on slave cyl all the way, leave for a while to "gravity feed" keeping the reservoir full,& an eye on the nipple, until all bubbles are expelled and clean brakefluid drips out(could take a few minutes). Close the nipple, and bleed system as usual....

The hydraulic cylinder is in the bell housing. When you separate the motor and tranny, you will see it as a unit with the throw-out bearing. Take the hydraulic line off before you start. You will have to bleed it when you are done.

SOURCE: Nubira 2000 model sticky clutch.
Regards Darryl, you have a leak try bleeding the system then lube the contact ball which you should of done when replacing the slave, also could have master going out happens all the time weakest point in the system is the first to go out.

If you're sure that the system has been bled properly, then you probably have a problem inside the transmission. Could be a broken clutch fork or blown release bearing. Make sure you've checked the hydraulics first though, sometimes it is difficult to get all the air out and you may need to use a pressure bleeder. Most brake shops have these.
