Question about 1995 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
1995 E420. While the air conditioning is running under normal driving conditions, the side vents suddenly start blowing hot air while the center vents blow (apparently) outside air (non-cooled). Turning the ventilation system off and then back on again sometimes solves the problem. Sometimes it takes several tries. Turning off the engine and starting again usually (but not always) solves the problem.
This is the probleme with luxury cars ...the venting systheme works with vacum and some thime smal electris motor ...if one is broken or a hose craked ...this kind of stuff appens not much to do but to take the under dash apart and look for the problem, it could also just need a little lubrification on all the moving parts !
