My holden colorado 2011lts turbo diesel revs but goes no when when i put my foot down.

Hello Troy, I would check the transmission fluid if it has an automatic transmission. I would check the clutch if it has a manual transmission. Have someone help you to see if the driveshaft turns but goes nowhere when you put your foot down.

As a co signer how do I find out balance? also I was promised a copy of contract never received it

Go to the people you co signed the loan with and they should give you a copy, since your name is on the paperwork. I would request that I get a copy of the balance statement, for your peace of mind. Most banks will work with you.

What are some rules for investing

Investing in what? Cars??? The rule for that is automobiles are the worst investments known to man. They are the only things that can loose value simply because they have been sold. You can buy a car and never take it off of the lot...just take the paperwork and register the vehicle in your name. Then try to sell the car to someone else. You will find that you have lost at least 10% of what you spent on the vehicle because it is now a "Used" vehicle...even though it has not moved.

99 b-4000. cel lean. o2/mass ok? miss fires driving or idel. cold before warming runs rough/stall/tries to stall. no vacuum leaks.with compressor running heat/ cold would here high pitch/ reving...

If you can find the PCV valve and it's associated plumbing, I promise that you'll find one of the rubber elbows that connects it to the intake manifold has rotted out and is leaking vacuum. This is a very common problem.

My 1990 chevy astro van didn't pass smog. Paperwork says it failed the following; Ignition timing: 99 ATDC. Also, ASM Emission Test Results; 15mph HC (PPM) max is 122 measured 127, 25mph max is 102...

the smog test looks like the engine is miss firing, that could cause the timing to be out of whack also, try a old fashioned tune up, new spark plugs, wires, and filters also replace the PCV valve. any time you see the NO that high suspect a miss fire.

PCV valve for 2004 Hona CRV

PCV Valve Operation: 0900823d80049deb.jpgA vacuum-controlled metering device that regulates the flow of crankcase fumes in the positive crankcase ventilation system by allowing more flow at high speed than at low speed, and acts as a system shutoff in case of engine backfire to prevent an explosion in the crankcase.
Depending on your engine size, the PCV is a different style and slightly different location.

Usually they are mounted in a hole on your valve cover.... connected by a vacuum tube.
Some are mounted with threads into the engine block (usually by the oil filter)

On the '04 Crv - it is nearly inaccessible behind the AC compressor and beneath what looks like an old vacuum advance. Most PCV valves today do not need to be replaced, unless there is actual valve failure, which I have not seen happen. I would not be concerned about replacing it.

Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated!!
