Question about 2004 Suzuki XL-7
Connecting the main car battery backwards can damage some electronics
got you, no meter.
tow it to a shop, or
1: check all fuses, cab and hood.
2: do the head lights work ( it takes no key to do that) if fails, fix this first (fuses are blown)
or battery is dead or installed backwards.
3: turn the key to on.
do all normal warning lamps go out, after the delay
or are they dead, if dead fuses ARE BLOWN.
4: THE CEL lamp must glow key on or the PCM has no power, (fuses again) "check engine lamp"
5: the Immobilizer lamp must go out, key on, or the IMMO is not happy, it does just as the name says.
IMMO lamp in the cluster, tells you this, fact.
there you go 5 steps
fuses that look bad are in fact bad.
fuses that look ok, need to be tested, due to possible hair line cracks,.
